There's a similar story where I'm from, although instead of Alice, the protagonist's name was Alyx. And she didn't find herself in Wonderland, but instead, found herself in the Ever After.
[ The rest of the story is a little different, but that part is so similar that she can't quite help but find it to be a coincidence. Although where Weiss is from, Alyx was a real person who had already passed away. Ever After is a real place. ]
My friends and I found ourselves in the Ever After, too. We thought we were in a book, but then we found out that the book was based on the actual place after all. We didn't meet a queen like that... just a stupid king who was so overly pompous and annoying. He turned us into small chess pieces and made us fight his soldiers on the board.
