You sound just like him. 'Cept you're not hurtling a freakin log at me.
[ And no. He is not exaggerating. As part of his training, he'd get a whole lot of "tough love", as they say. Although Jubei did lot after him just as well. Something told him that Weiss would get along with him swimmingly. ]
Bless her heart.
[ Said so flatly. From what Weiss has shared about her partner and leader, there seems to be a lot to like about her! He doesn't actually believe what the huntress says, thankfully. It's when the conversation takes a shift towards something teetering on awkward that Ragna's expression sinks a little bit when she mentions that reflected world in The Roost. It was difficult to forget...and while there was part of him that was tempted to go back on his own, knowing he was far more resistant than others, it was difficult thinking of the condition it left Weiss in.
What he did for her? Well...he's already proven that he didn't need it to be life or death. But when push comes to shove and someone needs help and that's literally the only way to save someone fast... ]

[ Because of course if a friend was in trouble, he'd do what he had to to save them. Ragna was no hero, nor did he have any aspirations to be one. But it was just common sense. You care for someone? You'll go to bat for them. You'll help them. You'll save them. And instead of touching her or taking her hand into his, he patiently waits for her.
It's Ragna who extends his hand, open for her so that he can help her stand tall again. To reach out instead of being pulled out. Because he's going to catch her every single time. ]
