[ He already went and signed up for like three additional rewards programs this morning, using his grocery store point card as the base to get him there. He's loaded up on luck, they're just not visible. ]

Cancer is in second as well, so I don't need to have it out as long as it's with me.

[ So he's really just taking Weiss to a puppy cafe. And it's the last day of Iris, it's not like he can even excuse it as Cordis behavior... ]

[ Midorima's very hungry. That's totally a good and passable excuse to go to a puppy cafe and invite someone to go with him. ]

At least you can take it easy for the day.

[ Weiss may have adopted the whole lucky items thing thanks to Midorima, but it's only because she wants to do better. It's not because she has the shittiest luck in the world.

Having said that, a kid zooms by on a bicycle and almost knocks Weiss over. Good thing there's a green tower next to her that she clings onto so she doesn't fall down! ]

[ Midorima's instinct isn't to catch her-- but she catches herself, which gives him a second to register what happened and reach over to steady her at least. He narrows his eyes at the biker. Why is this such a familiar scenario?? Though Momoi just hit the ground tbh so maybe not that familiar.. Unless someone starts screaming about a purse snatching, he's going to focus on Weiss. ]

[ At least the person this time is probably ten-years old and not a thief!! ]

I'm fine. That kid didn't even stop to say sorry!

[ The nerve! She'd chase them down if she could, if she were pettier. Weiss has some chill now. ]

[ Midorima isn't the violent type so it isn't his inclination to do anything himself about it. But there's also not really a way to report irresponsible biking.. ]

[ That's when she realises she's still holding onto him, so she lets go a little slowly. ]

[ He doesn't think she needs to apologize for that. He's more worried about her than focused on her holding onto him until she apologizes.. and by that point it's a little late to get properly embarrassed. ]

The cafe is just around this corner.

[ She only apologised because she knows he can get really anal about his personal space! She's the same. . . and she'd want an apology if someone clung to her like that. It's not exactly convenient.

She stays quiet until she sees the sign. The cafe doesn't look like a regular cafe from the get-go, since it has paw prints everywhere it looks like a dog house. There are some dogs on the window, and seeing them gets Weiss excited. ]

Oh my god! Look at them! Come on! [ HURRY UP!!!!! She'll just pull at his wrist so they can get there quicker and start playing with the dogs. She hasn't had lunch yet but the dogs are more important. ]

[ He did not expect this reaction. While it was a good one, he's never been pulled. And he almost reflexively plans himself to the ground until she stops pulling him. He'll walk as soon as she stops askjgdhaksdg ]

Hurry up!

[ She at least lets go. She gets it, but she's also going to leave him behind at this rate!! ]

[ He comes along perfectly normally as soon as she lets go. He doesn't like being tugged even if it's cute ]

You like dogs a lot.

[ Just a statement of fact as he goes to open the door for her. ]

They're really cute, that's why.

[ A server welcomes them and Weiss signals a table for two. There's a separate area for playing with dogs and another area for eating. Looks like you can't do both at the same time!

She isn't normally this excitable. Ruby's gotten to her... ]

I imagine this helps them gain socialization skills to improve their chance of being adopted.

[ He's not adopting one, but it's a good thought. He can't imagine they just own all the dogs here...

Midorima heads to their table and accepts a menu once they're seated. ]

Are you saying no one owns them?

[ Why haven't all these cutiepies been adopted yet. . . That's really sad... ]

There's a lot of them!

I don't know, but it would be a good means for it.

[ He imagines it would do more good to socialize more dogs and get them adopted than to have a set team. Though it would probably be easiest to have a set team... depends on the owners, he supposes. He goes to the back of the menu where they usually have a little blurb about the restaurant or whatever... Ah, here it is. He holds it out for Weiss to look at it.

They're all adoptable, but there are four who live here permanently who care for the young pups and help them socialize in a relaxed environment. ]

[ She goes to read the blurb carefully and silently, then she turns back to look at the other side of the cafe where the dogs are. Ah... she wants to adopt one. . . but Blake wouldn't like that. She already didn't like it when Weiss took care of Naga for a few days. ]

Okay. I'm going to take lots of pictures and upload them so more people can know about this place. [ She's determined!! Midorima's going to be in those pictures, too. ]

I'm sure they'll appreciate the media exposure.

[ Weiss surely either has or is soon to have a following as the musical lead, after all. That will help adopt the dogs. He takes his menu back to actually pick out some food though, and doesn't consider that she's going to make him her unwitting model.. ]

[ The food they have available looks yummy based on the pictures, but they're also pretty expensive compared to other restaurants. Maybe it's because of the dogs. Weiss will just have to budget her remaining Chroma later on. She wants to enjoy today!

She ends up ordering a salad (what's new) and a vanilla milkshake. Something light and something sinful! She just wants something cold to drink, really. ]

It says we can buy treats for the dogs, too. I guess we can order for them later once we're done eating.

Agreed. I don't want to sit here with a bunch of dog treats next to my food.

[ They're probably human grade but he wants room on the table to shuffle stuff around and keep it neat.. For his dish, Midorima settles on an egg salad sandwich, requesting that they use Japanese mayonnaise and put half an egg in the middle. He wants it Japanese style, not western style... They don't seem to have Japanese mayonnaise though, they have Lunatian mayo, and he doesn't know what's actually in it to tell them how to make it so he says he'll try it anyway.

And a fruit cup. ]

[ If that fruit cup has blueberries in it, she's going to steal some. ]

[ Midorima's mentioned he doesn't eat much, but what if the sandwich is really small?? ]

This is plenty.

[ He's ordering a sandwich, not a finger sandwich. It should be fine?? Especially with a fruit cup too! And a tea, he adds, when she asks if they want anything to drink. ]

[ Well, he knows himself better. She's just never met a guy who eats so little, is all. Not a bad thing, though! ]

You can have some of my salad if you want to try it.
