Oh well. There are two more dogs around!! She'll try to get their attention again by offering treats. ]

Maybe she just likes you better. It's not a big deal.

[ Treats are a dog's best friend, so it isn't hard. the little chihuahua seems to really like Weiss too...

But most importantly, from behind, a husky chow chow that looks like a tiny bear is jumping up to push Weiss's back with its paws. Payyyy attention to it and its tiny woof that is way smaller than its poofy fur!!

Midorima picks the tiny maltese up again, this time trying the ultimate move so that he can play with other dogs and protect the tiny one: he's putting it into his shirt pocket just as a dapple dachshund plods its way over between them, clearly torn on who to pay attention to. They both have treats?? ]

I think we all have people we prefer over others.

[ Maybe this is how he brings up something that's been bothering him. Hm. ]

Look, they like me! [ Weiss being upset over one small dog gets forgotten when she feels paws on her back and when she's pushed forward. It gets her to laugh before she shifts so she's facing Midorima, now accommodating doggies from her front and back for pets and treats and tight hugs once they've received their treat.

One hug from a puppy means the others practically jump on her though. They might be small but they're still a lot. ]

Mi- Midorima, help! [ But she's happy so maybe she doesn't actually need help?! ldkajf IT'S A PUPPY INVASION ]

[ Midorima is miraculously unhelpful.

In fact, her picks up the indecisive weiner dog and adds it to the pile on Weiss. Just who is he helping? ]

Don't!

[ But she's smiling, so yes??? She has three dogs on her- four now- and she's pretty sure she's going to stumble backwards so she grabs onto Midorima's sleeve. ]

[ Let them puppy pile, Weiss, don't hang on him.. ]

What? No.

[ It's not comfortable to lay down on the floor? But she gets the idea, so she manoeuvres herself to turn so her back is to his side. ]

Don't move.

[ Because she's gonna lower herself a little and lean on him so puppies can pile on her. :) ]

[ Well. He'll accept his fate, he supposes. He pushes up his glasses as this happens.

All of Kaijo would probably shit their pants at how cute this is and how lucky Midorima is to have a girl like this on him. ]

[ She's gonna look up at him and lift a pup so that the pup can lick Midorima on the nose. Enjoy that :) ]

[ why!! He makes a face, but doesn't move at least so Weiss doesn't have to fall. ]

I don't want to smell dog breathe!

[ NOW HIS NOSE SMELLS LIKE IT!!!! ]

But you wanted this to happen to me? That's pretty mean.

[ She can just shower later. Midorima can get over it. ]

They aren't licking your nose!

[ Just all the rest of her face ]

[ It actually happens as soon as Midorima says it. Is Weiss making a fuss about it, no!! But she does plop a puppy back on the floor. Then another, then another. ]

Okay, I think that's enough for now.

[ But she switches on her camera first to take a picture of them. Hopefully they don't move much... ]

[ They're wiggling a lot and Midorima can see that Weiss wants to take a picture so he picks up dogs and tucks one under each arm. The tiny teacup dog is still in his pocket. They seem to calm down being held like this somehow. Shh, calm puppies. ]

You should be able to take it now.

[ Midorima is going to be in the picture too, then. Say cheese. ]

... Don't look so grumpy. How are people supposed to adopt the puppies if it looks like you're telling them not to?

[ What is he supposed to do, smile.. ]

You'd look cuter if you smiled a little. Come on.

[ She hasn't clicked the shutter yet!!! ]

I'm not going to.

[ He refuses. THe puppies are even licking his chin and he's not budging a muscle!! ]

[ She bites her lower lip and takes a picture. Okay, fine. So it's cute. Maybe this is just for her rather than for everyone to see. ]

Move over so we can take a picture with them.

[ Weiss isn't even gonna wait!! She sits down again next to him so they can take a selfie. ]

[ He doesn't fight it or even look phased about it. At least he looks calm, not grumpy or mad. But he's used to having his photograph taken. Basketball Monthly has done it a few times and like.. j-world and some clothing lines i guess idk Their devices have much less bothersome flashes at least. The puppies give his hands something to do at least, so he won't complain.

Once the picture is taken, he sets the dogs down and takes the little one out of his pocket. The little one seems to have decided to become attached to him though, so it's not going anywhere. ]

Do you want to keep playing with them? I can stay for another half hour or so before I have to go.

[ One of them jumps back on Weiss' lap, but doesn't do anything beyond rest there. Weiss certainly doesn't mind, and even gives the puppy ear scratches. ]

It's okay. I don't want to be here alone. We can go, if you want.

I offered to stay if you want to, it's up to you.

[ He wants Weiss to have fun as long as he can stay!! He's so bad at saying it though. :| ]

Let's stay a little while longer, then. We still have a few treats to give.

[ Maybe ten more minutes... She wants to take more pictures!! ]

[ Weiss needs some pictures of herself with the puppies rather than him, ok. ]

[ It's an odd request, but she passes her device to him, anyway. Maybe there's something he's spotted that could make a good picture? She doesn't know, but it's his for the taking... and using. She doesn't care. ]
