My Self-Summary

Greetings. My name is Weiss Schnee. I'm a Huntress and a member of team RWBY. I hail from a world called Remnant, and I was once a citizen of the kingdom of Atlas.

I tend to wear my hair in different ways. Why don't you tell me which style you think suits me best?

My Future Plans

To learn the ins and outs of this resort, mostly. And of course, get back to Remnant, where my friends are.

With regard to the games here? Let's just say I'd like to upgrade my suite.

My Talents

For combat related talents, I am an exceptional fencer and my swordsmanship is beyond compare. My Semblance allows me to create Glyphs, as well, which make me capable of performing feats like making shields and platforms, time dilation, or summoning creatures that are under my command. I'm also very proud to say that I know a thing or two about making weaponry; I did, after all, design my own weapon.

Of course, I'm not just all work and no play. I'm a skilled artist, with a talent for dancing, playing the piano, songwriting, and singing. I've performed in front of my kingdom many, many times, and even my fellow students at Beacon loved my performances.

Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and Food

I've read many books since I was a child, as reading is one of my favourite past times. The classics never get old, such as: The Boy Who Fell From the Sky, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Corpse Doctor, amongst others.

I tend not to watch movies, and I only do so when people invite me out. As such, I don't really have a favourite. Maybe you can invite me to watch a movie with you and change my mind? 👉👈

When it comes to my taste in music, I do enjoy operas and ballads, but I've also branched out and have been listening to pop and rock songs. There's just rap which I don't quite understand...

And lastly, for food, I am typically not a very picky eater. I like to eat light and healthy, so salads, quinoa, and granola are in my usual diet. I do love frozen yoghurt best, though! Especially blueberry flavoured frozen yoghurt. That would be my favourite. And crepes, of course!

My Ideal Partner

I haven't had time to sit down and think of what kind of partner is ideal for me. Of course, somebody mature would be best, because I have no interest in childish things. Someone who will look out for me, give me attention and affection, and call me a good girl. 💙💙💙

Someone I can have an intellectual conversation with over either coffee or tea, or someone who can challenge me and push me to my limits would be best. I'd like to grow as a person as well, after all.

In any case, before she opens up the menu, she does ask: ]

["Please don't commit worse crimes than this" ahaha.... Well. No one's gotten hurt, yet? He's definitely been stealing things... And cheating at casino games.]

I actually think you might have a better idea of what sort of things you might like from this kind of place than I would. Not to put the pressure on you, but I want to make sure you really enjoy yourself.

[As for him... He wants to just get something basic... Maybe a small salad to start followed by some kind of pasta? Though pasta can be fairly heavy... Decisions decisions.]

[ Definitely no pressure, so she shakes her at that comment before opening up the menu. ]

Then... what about a Caesar salad? [ A salad is a must for Weiss' diet, after all. ] Ooh, I wanna try the arancini, too.

And the lobster pasta? Do you want to split that one? I don't think I can finish all of it.

[ The other two are for sharing, but they're pretty light that Weiss can finish them all if Kazuya doesn't want them. ]

That sounds really good.... I think it's probably best if we both split things, since neither of us really have a big appetite.

[He's got enough saved up that it shouldn't be too bad on his wallet regardless, but there's also still that to contend with.]

I don't think I've ever really had Italian food before. Actually, I ate pretty traditionally outside of fast food with friends back home.

Oh! Sorry... Italy is a country where I'm from... And where Italian food as a concept is from. Kind of like how we had sushi, which is a typical dish from Japan, and I'm Japanese. Is it the same for you? Actually whats the term for someone born in Atlas anyway?

[ That was probably a very random thing to say, but Weiss clarifies, waving a hand dismissively. ]

No, I know! It's just— I was reading up about music from Earth in the library. When you mentioned Italian food, I thought of him!

Someone from the Kingdom of Atlas is Atlesian, although you can be from the city or Mantle or the smaller areas in the kingdom.

Yeah, I know how to play some of his pieces. Kind of weird that he's the one who came to your head. Usually Bach or Mozart or Beethoven would be the first ones someone would see or think about.

[Weird... But he supposes that anyone who reads anything about music from Earth would likely come across his name too. It's not like he was unknown, just not usually the first people would think of.

Either way, he nods along with what Weiss is saying.]

That's really cool... Which part are you from?

The others aren't Italian though, aren't they?

[ Though she's yet to read about Bach... Maybe she'll ask Leo about him. ]

I'm from the city. [ She won't talk about the Schnees owning their own hill and all and living on top of everyone else gadsgad that's just... Nah. Besides, Atlas is gone. ] Rather, I was, anyway.

I wish I could show you some time, but even if we did find ourselves back in Remnant, we wouldn't be able to.

No, two were from Germany, and the other was from Austria. [ But she's talking about way more interesting things than long dead composers. ]

Is it a "No Longer Exists" kind of deal or "Not Welcome Here" deal? Because if it's the latter, I can be pretty persuasive.

Yeah. That's why when you said Italian, I thought of him. I'm sure there must be others I'll read about at some point, too.

[ Maybe she'll be brave enough to try a piece at some point. Kazuya said he could play though? She'll have to ask him again too. ]

I told you about Salem before. Atlas is gone now because she and her followers attacked the kingdom. The only way to save the everyone was to teleport them to another city and let the kingdom fall.

[ That's... the first time she's said it all out loud. Even she looks stunned now that she's said it. The next breath she lets out is heavy, but it almost sounds like she's been keeping it in for so long. ]

Anyway, let's order, shall we? I'd rather not talk about depressing things on my birthday.

Then lets talk more about composers.

Or at least their pieces. Have you managed to hear any of them? I can play some, if you get me a violin, though I might be a little out of practice.

I've seen some of their pieces. I've always wanted to try one on the piano, though, but I don't want to practice in front of a bunch of people.

[ There is a piano in the casino after all, but it's not really the best place for learning a new piece. ]

I'm not sure where we can get a violin for you, either...

What about one of the people who are high rank? Do you think they could request a piano and violin for us? Maybe we could even play a few pieces together, if they manage to get one?

[Just a thought! And it would be kind of fun, playing with Weiss, though he's definitely out of practice by this point.]

I suppose we can try and ask Nami when I introduce you to her.

[ Too bad Leo isn't a royal rank, though from what she knows he's pretty high in ranking, too. She thinks he'd have all the instruments he could ever want if he asked and were a king or something. ]

I didn't know you could play the violin, though. What else can you play?

I can do guitar, a bit of piano, and I've always wanted to try drums, but never really got the chance to.

[His mom would never let him, and Naoya would have killed him (again) if he had gotten a hold of a drum-set to play in the first place. He knows this, he feels it in his bones.]

What about you? You sing and do piano, but have you done anything else?

[ She likes singing best, really, and does focus on it. But Weiss is skilled in other forms of art, like dance and painting, as well. ]

I feel like you'd need a big house if you wanted to play the drums. A big house with good acoustics.

[ And a soundproofed room! Also she does not think Kazuya has a big house GDSAGSDH ]

I don't think you'd need that big of a house, honestly? Though our house was a decent size to play something like that, I think even if my parents had been supportive of the drum getting, my cousin absolutely would not have been.

[Also... That would have been too many instruments.]

Needing good acoustics, though... Yeah, you're right. Either way, I never ended up getting them, so my knowledge about how to even play them is theoretical at best.

[schmisse]

You need some space for the drums. And having them so close together might not be comfortable for playing, either.

[ That's why she thinks he needs a big place. Something like a dorm room would not work... How big is Kazuya's house, anyway? ]

If we can get a violin here, I'm sure we can get you a drum set, too. You can start learning, then.

I was thinking more along the lines of one of those three piece drum kits. They really don't take up that much room. You could definitely fit one in a standard bedroom.

[His house wasn't that small!!! It's not like he lived in an apartment in Tokyo...]

Honestly? I think I'd just like to maybe play a piece with you. I think it'd be fun, drums or not.

[schmisse]

Oh. I guess those don't take up too much space.

[ A beginner's set! Maybe he can look into those electric drum sets instead. It doesn't quite feel like the real thing though, but if he wants to learn...

Maybe on his birthday... Hmm. Something she'll have to look into. ]

We'll have to get you something to use first. I'll ask around.

[ She might sound dismissive saying it, but she does give him a smile. It's not something she's taking lightly! ]

Come to think of it, I don't think I've played with anybody before. That would be nice, actually.

[No way, electric drum sets don't have the same sound!!! Acoustic or bust.]

I've only really played with people in music class, or solo in private lessons.

[But! That should be enough chatting, right? At least for now. He'll motion over a waiter to place their order finally because Aina hates small talk.]

I really hope that the food here is as good as this place makes it seem it'll be.

I've eaten here once with Scott. I only had a salad though, so I wouldn't know how the rest of the items on the menu taste.

[ So she agrees with him- she hopes the food here is as good as it seems. ]

Hopefully it's worth the price.
