[ Weiss is flushed, but not to the point where she doesn't have any bark left in her. Their eyes meet, finally, and for a good few moments, she also tries to take him all in.
Funny how this was all about the chips at first. She's certainly changed her mind now. He's hot, human, demon, whatever he might be. And who wouldn't want the attention of a king? It's intentional at this point, the way she tries to rile him up. The possessive growl is pretty hot, but maybe she can get a bit more...? ]
Definitely going to get rid of those marks later.
[ It's said to pose a challenge. Wouldn't he want to make sure she wouldn't be able to wipe it off with her Aura? Doesn't even matter where he bites next, at this point. ]
[The comment makes him squeeze her thighs harder, bite her harder, low on her throat, the junction of her neck and shoulder blade. His teeth are relentless, and he makes sure there's enough force to bruise the skin as he bites. His teeth are still pressed against her when he speaks next.]
I'm going to make sure you're unable to get rid of them. [He says, swallowing thickly, voice low. This isn't him, isn't normally him, anyway. Something about the atmosphere, the way the demons are clamoring in him, making him almost dizzy.]
I'm going to mark you so everyone knows you're mine.
There's nothing like making friends and getting to know someone by kissing them on the lips on your first meeting.

I've seen two people I know, as well. Though I wouldn't exactly call them friends, either.
[ She's just idly tossing the dice now... and it seems it's out for her life because that is a 5-5 right there. That? That doesn't earn a violent reaction, but just in case she couldn't be more honest? ]
Ew. [ Sorry, Leo. It's not about your butt. Don't take it personally. ] This is supposed to be sexy?
Edited 2023-12-23 05:13 (UTC)
hello, i return from holidays! hope yours went well
Wahaha! [ Look, he's not going to take anything personally here. He's got that loud, boisterous personality thing going. Weiss can complain all she wants about anything, he's going to take it in stride. Besides, he kind of gets it? ]
Maybe it could be in a different context...but I kind of feel like it wouldn't do much for me! But, well, if you don't like the rules, let's just change 'em! [ Leo. Leo, that wouldn't earn you any money? ] We could wildcard it to something else!
[ Of course, he also gives chess pieces laser beam powers when he plays so this is kind of what someone could have expected. ]
What- [ For a brief moment, Weiss looks concerned and looks down at their feet. She'll have to watch out, it seems. And with how big he seems to be compared to her, no doubt she would have bruised toenails if her feet do get stepped on.
She's quick on her feet, at least, literally and figuratively. The sudden shock does not make her lose her footing, and spins as gracefully as one would expect a professional dancer. His comment gets her to laugh a little, but her response is no jest. ]
You had me worried. You're definitely not a dancer.
[ But credit where credit is due. He's been a good lead so far, so she doesn't see the need to worry now. ]
Let me guess, [ The hair is a bit unruly, so she doesn't think he's typical nobility. Hand is callused, which for some reason she notices right away, so he's become farther and farther from nobility the more she thinks. She hums as a way to make her pause less quiet, before saying: ] you're a mercenary?
[ Amused, he leads her out for a spin before pulling her back in toward himself—all talk of stepping on feet nonwithstanding, he is light on his. Footwork is indeed one of his best skills, a family style passed down for many, many years. What is swordsmanship, if not a kind of dance? Enough to pretend for long enough to dance with a gorgeous gal.
Her guess isn't a bad one. He laughs, a soft raspy noise colored with warmth. ]
Close. I do consider myself a man of duty.
[ A classy young lady like this—from the way she carries herself to the properness of her motions—gives him the sense that she is uppercrust. Unlikely to be all too pleased to find out she's dancing with a former convict and current fugitive of the Holy Empire. So that's a tidbit about himself he neglects to share for now. ]
I used to serve a lord. Now, I've been traveling with someone to pay my debt to them. [ he pauses, then corrects: ] Well. Before here. I haven't seen her at all in this resort.
[ He hums, giving her another up and down while moving into another step. ]
You, on the other hand... [ he drawls, and then arbitrarily chooses the utmost station for a lovely woman he can think of, ] Princess?
Well, that's good to know that I shouldn't do the thing you won't judge me for.
[Hearing Weiss Schnee, of all people, say "Not that I would judge" is kind of hilarious in and of itself. He can feel that she's changed, grown a bit, but also really, she's still Weiss.]
I was just here looking for clothes.
[Considering the pants he's wearing are too small and stolen from someone doing an orgy in the woods and he doesn't even have a shirt on.]
Can't someone try to socialise normally around here?
[ A part of her is thinking this girl is just doing this on purpose. Weiss is unfortunately so easy to rile up. ]
I was just looking for some company! I suppose it was my fault for not having a topic in mind, to start with. [ She unfortunately doesn't take a sip of the drink just yet, but she does swirl the wine around slowly. ] How about... oh- did you wake up outside or in one of the suites?
[Socialize normally? Who the hell does that when your circumstances aren't normal? Rin had to force herself to 'socialize normally' way to much during school. Here? She can be as curt and terrible as she wanted.
Which isn't too terrible, considering she still needs to cultivate a group of reliable "cards" to choose from if she wants to win the resort's game.]
Ugh, right... I came to in the simulated jungle and was hunted down before stealing a bunch of clothes from a horny mob. And you?
[ They have the same reaction. Sort of. Dramatic gasp and everything. She almost wants to laugh from how stupid it is, but she is also embarrassed?? ]
I don't understand how that would be considered sexy. [ Also that's her butt????? ] I mean, I guess you can reroll? Although I don't know if that's considered one missed turn already.
W-we can just say that was...a warm-up! Yes. The game truly begins now!
[ Gods help her if she rerolls the same thing again, she'll have to accept a missed turn then. As it is, she just has to hope the game runners aren't going to insist a practice roll isn't a thing. Scooping up the dice, she eagerly throws them again, this time rolling...
A 6 and a 3! ]
...Sniff mouth? Ahem. That...seems much easier to accomplish.
You know, I'm not some pretty princess in need of defending. I can take care of myself.
[ But she is a pretty princess, thank you very much.
... And if you think that was cold, she takes the spoon that's held out to her, only to turn it around and shove the cake right into Elphelt's mouth. ]
[Elphelt was trying to be polite and let Weiss get the first bite! But she accepts it with excited wiggles in her seat. It tastes good!]
--I-I didn't mean to suggest you can't just because you're a pretty princess. But...well, us girls have to stick together, right? Just know you don't need to deal with anything all on your own. That's all.
[ Good for him for enjoying all this. . . At least someone is entertained! Weiss is still so confused, but has some to realise that maybe he wasn't lying about this magic trick, if it even is a trick. It might just be magic altogether.
Much as she hates being told what to do, she lets out a huff before doing as she's told. Just a little, just enough that she isn't sitting so stiff in her seat.
It isn't for him, though. ]
I'm curious... How many fingers am I holding up?
[ Well, holding up on her lap, she means. That's why she put some distance between her legs to begin with. ]
( there's a long groan, as though he hates the prospect of being tested--in reality, it doesn't much bother him, though it does make him slump back in his seat, chin ducking down slightly to angle his gaze more fully through to the table and beyond.
this is the sort of thing that might give him a headache, in the long run. but she's spread her legs at least a little bit, enough to see the hue of her underwear, and more than that, now she's got a hand in her lap, holding up-- )
Three? Three fingers.
( immediately he's laughing, a bright sort of cackle, as he leans into the table again; he clearly can't sit still. )
[ Definitely not. Maybe another time, when there isn't something more important going on.
It's funny how she was so against getting intimate with anyone here, even telling Rin that she'll focus on getting more information to get out of here, instead. And yet, having a taste of intimacy and the pleasure that comes with it has changed her mind some. It isn't so bad to indulge!
Like now, when she finds herself in the presence of such a lovely woman. Her own touch is a lot more shy and reserved, and she even hesitates for a second before she rests her hand on Nami's waist. It's an experimental touch, to see what the other girl would appreciate, because while she somehow loves getting attention and affection, she's also not that very good at giving back. Maybe that can change.
Or she could try and vie for more attention. Especially with her words. ]
You know, [ She arches her back some, her breast pressing even further into the other girl's hand. ] I'm not wearing a bra underneath.
[ Her dress is padded, at least, but that hardly matters with a statement as bold as that. ]
[ Shifting encouragingly towards Weiss' hand, Nami's touch grows bolder as well, smirking at the bit of information the other woman shares about her outfit. Most of her experience, especially with other women, has happened at the casino, so while there's a lot she's still improvising her way through, Nami knows an invitation when she hears it.
Head ducking, hiding a grin against the other woman's skin while she kisses her way along the collar of Weiss' dress Nami's gaze stays trained on the other girl's face. ]
Are you going to take it off so I can see for myself, or do I get to take it off you?
[ She gives Weiss' skin a careful nip as she asks before pulling back long enough to pull her own top off and cast it aside. Unlike Weiss, she didn't think to forgo wearing a bra, but the black lace she opted for that day compliments the sunny freckles that span the tops of her shoulders, and the curves of her body nicely. ]
[ Not a bad first call, but this guy doesn't have any chips on him, still. He sounds like he knows what he's doing with how calm he is, so hopefully he does know how to wrangle his way out of debt.
The resort is kinder to wildcards, anyway. Weiss and the others certainly didn't experience any form of discrimination until they ended up getting checked in. Who knows if it'll be different if he's seen hanging around someone with a low rank, though...
She'll take responsibility if that does happen. ]
Why does it look like you just got married?
[ Balloons and... gifts and all. Some of these cards are even wishing him congratulations! And yes, he did tell her to get comfortable, so she's looking around now, and has approached the mountain of wrapped presents that are just sitting there. Unopened. ]
You should open these. Maybe there's something useful here.
[ A beat. She picks one of the cards up and reads it aloud: ]
"Ragna the Bloodedge... they finally put a ring on the Crimson Calamity! Congratulations on sealing the deal and saying "I do" instead of "Rawr!" May your wedded bliss be filled with epic combos, power-ups of love, and a happily ever after that throws down like a Level 10 Distortion Drive. Just remember, sharing your Danger Gauge might be the ultimate act of true love!" Heart emoji.
[ Yeah at least in this exchange her faith(?) in Ragna may be misguided. He's calm. Because he doesn't give a shit about no tab from these horny interlopers. But frankly, he'll cross that bridge when he gets to it. Weiss may think of taking responsibility if he gets in hot water for hanging around a lower rank like her, but...
He may know next to nothing about her? But she's just a person. And if the staff want to treat her like crap while he's around? They'll have to go through him. ]
APPARENTLY I did. [ Though he supposes he should clarify. ...even if he still doesn't know the how or why. ] I'm guessing this didn't happen to you when you woke up here. I wound up in bed with someone that flipped their lid on me. [ Though, looking back, whether this timeline meant Ereshkigal or Elphelt Ragna can't help but grimace a little. ] Can't say I blame them in hindsight.
[ He'll go get changed in the other room. Right now, he's just going to take off the excess layers like his jacket and vest, unbuttoning them as Weiss investigates the mountainous pile of unopened wedding favours and gifts. As he calls back, one foot into the other room but still in the general vicinity, as Weiss leans over to pick up one of the congratulatory cards, ]
Yeah, I'm not sure how trustworthy a pile of—
[ He gets cut off a beat later by: ]
[ "Ragna the Bloodedge... they finally put a ring on the Crimson Calamity!" ]
You reading that off that card?? [ Half a beat- ] The hell's a "Crimson Calamity"? It's "Grim Reaper"!
[ "Congratulations on sealing the deal and saying "I do" instead of "Rawr!" May your wedded bliss be filled with epic combos, power-ups of love, and a happily ever after that throws down like a Level 10 Distortion Drive." ]
WHY is there a level t—
[ "Just remember, sharing your Danger Gauge might be the ultimate act of true love!" ]
That doesn't make any sense. NONE of that made any sense!
[ Good. Weiss is not exactly pleased, but she's at least satisfied that Fang seems to... well, heel. She won't blame the other woman for being angry and upset, of course, because Weiss can be that way, too. In fact, she could be even worse! But she's been slightly desensitised thanks to this place, and because she has been here for a few weeks and wasn't lost in the nooks and crannies of this place, she is a lot more calm. ]
I'm not sure if seeing you again is a good or bad thing.
[ Because that just means she's here to play the game instead of being wherever she was before. But that also means— ]
What do you mean, though? Were you, um, wherever you were, along with others who woke up here a few weeks ago, too?
[ She'd thought those people who disappeared went back home. Guess this little detail complicates things. Maybe people can't really go home after all. ]
If you can believe it, not the first time I've heard that.
[Fang responds, with a huff, and then sits right in the middle of the elevator with no preamble, back pressed to one of the walls, legs stretched in front of her and the scowl on her face deepening as she recalls her month in empty corridor hell, a place that seemed a part of casino hell but somehow separate from it.]
I've got no idea where I was. Got lost somewhere with loads of hallways that went nowhere, 'til they went somewhere. Then I ended up in caves with horny octopus monsters. By the time I got out of whatever the hell that was, the staff was waiting.
[An eyeroll.] They all did this big song and dance about how sorry they were, and what a big mistake it was that I somehow ended up in who knows where. They claimed the place was supposed to be closed off. Didn't bother explaining much else. So there you have it. Turns out I never left at all.
Testing the food— Oh! [ She looks pretty surprised upon realising what it means, and all she can offer to that is: ] What a brave soul.
[ Seriously. No sarcasm there. And she'll keep that bit about the Red Cardinal in mind, for sure. ]
I guess we can go back now. [ The limited space means only one person can stand up at the same time, and she waits for him before getting back up. The offered hand is nice, and she takes the help, dusting off her skirt once she's standing again. ] Hopefully we can breeze through the rest and no one has to get punished.
[ And with that, she pushes the door open, her arm going up to cover her eyes for a second or two as she gets used to the light again. One of the staff is still watching them from a distance, to which she just rolls her eyes before plopping back on her seat. ]
kazuya.

It definitely doesn't have to be right away.

end here or yours to wrap?
ragna.

[ Though, looking back,
whether this timeline meant Ereshkigal or ElpheltRagna can't help but grimace a little. ] Can't say I blame them in hindsight.[ He'll go get changed in the other room.
NONE of that made any sense!

fang.

Turns out I never left at all.

feng xin.
I think it was your turn.
